DATA AVAILABLE IN DYNAMIC HYPERCUBE™ FORMAT
Data from three databases are currently available:
1.- 2000 Census Public Use Microdata 5% Sample
2.- American Community Survey Microdata for 2003
3.- Yearly Population Estimates
NOTE: The VIEWCUBE™ program is needed to manipulate the hypercubes. Use the Order Form to order VIEWCUBE™ and/or data hypercubes or, ask for a demo CD with examples of data hypercubes.
2000 Census Public Use Microdata 5% Sample:
Three types of data hypercubes are available:
- Persons: all person variables in the census form
- Housing: all housing variables in the census form
- Head-House: almost all person and housing variables for all heads of household
Each hypercube comes in two versions:
- Weighted cases in each cell
- Weighted and non-weighted cases in each cell: allows you to see how many real cases are in each cell
With any of the three types of hypercubes for a State, you can analyze data for the whole State, selected Metropolitan Areas (MAs) totally contained within the State borders, and selected counties. Click on STATE and then on a State from the list of States. You will see the list of MAs and Counties that can be analyzed individually with the hypercubes for the selected State.
NOTE: A similar set of data hypercubes is available for selected Metropolitan Areas that cross State lines.

Geography: data only for the whole State
Population Estimates:
Two types of hypercubes are available:
- State estimates: sex - race - Hispanic origin and single year of age
- State by county estimates: sex - race - Hispanic origin - age groups
There are two versions of each hypercube:
- estimates for 2003
- estimates for 2000 - 2001 - 2002 - 2003: allows you to analyze the time series of the estimates by any of the four variables
NOTE: All American Community Survey and Population Estimates data hypercubes will be updated yearly.
